Videos?

Cool! Did you get the one entitled, "Mastering Bass Guitar?" :)

Kidding of course. You know, right after I posted about the movie it moved into some really good stuff where he was working with Eric Clapton and Cream, Skynyrd, Allman Brothers and Derek & The Dominos. It told the story of how Duane Allman and Eric Clapton got together for that gig. He also re-mixed Layla as a demonstration and explained what he was doing. It was absolutely AMAZING how that sounded. So clean and raw! And he looked at the whole song as two different songs actually. The slowed down piano part he really considered two songs and he said it was done 3 weeks after the first part! That last half hour of the movie was the best part, but the first hour had its moments too with all the studio footage and interviews. All in all I give it a 7.

Speaking of looking forward, I am tracking your bass line tonight, and if I like it, I'll PM you when it's posted so you can get it.

Are you going to submit this to the mp3 clinic?

If not, you have to at least post a copy of it when it's mixed for me to grab. I still have your tracks, but it's better that you mixed it, since it's your stuff...

We've hijacked the thread again... ;) I may post it in the clinic... depends on how it sounds after I mix it. I may just have you mix it and see if you do better than me. Who knows. I'll let you know on that one. ;)
