Does anyone have any recordings posted of a song mixed to the internal burner on the VF-160? From what I've seen posted so far songs are recorded on the VF-160 but mixed on a computer. Has anyone recorded, mixed and mastered using just the VF-160? I want to record my 3pc band (drums, guitar, bass, 2 vox) but I don't want to upgrage my computer to mix and burn the recordings. From what I read about the vf-160 this can be done...right?

thanks

Hi Jim.

In a debate about scsi VS adat, I posted a about a 2 minute snip of some blues tracks that i did on the 160. No vocals, cause the song isn't done yet, I simply had it on my site because I wanted my nephew to hear what the 160 could do. here is the link.

The electric guitars are simply through my shitty little amp, and miced with my SP c-1 mic. I also miced my shitty little Ovation acoustic with the c-1 too. The drums are from an Acid loop CD, Mick Fleetwood total drums.

Hope you like it. The tracks are all using the 160 effects (which I really like).

I don't have any samples available to be posted yet, but I have yet to use my computer in conjuction with the VF160, so yes it can definitely be done.

All on the VF160

if you go to My Home Page and go to the sounds page, there's some tracks there that were recorded, mixed, then burnt onto CD all within the VF160.

See what you think...
