Hi I am a representative for a Record Company. I am seeking instrumentals for ala Mariah Carey record and others.
For the M. C. project the Record company is asking for 50% publishing and 50% writers royalties ,which intern leaves 50% publishing which will be split in half between your party and my party. This is a Major project.

All negotiations will take place after we listen too your record.

Thank you,

that's a real good look! man, i would have to step my game up for something like that. i'm sure Beatsbuy and Stray would easily get a serious listen from this guy. i'm not trying to sell myself short but i realistically know where my strengths and weaknesses are.

You'd think that someone in a professional business such as this person, would know how to use correct spelling and grammar.

Yeah, that freaks me a bit too...

alot of time people talk to their contacts outside from the business..if your good friends with someone you give them a heads up on projects before had..and thats what he did with my producer friend...he let him know what he will be looking for...everything doesnt have to go through a reocrd label site or have their own site to do business..I wouldnt post anything that I wouldnt think would give us a chance to get heard...I Know how everyone feels about seeing certain email address when it come to tryin to get heard..cause it always someone tryin to get over..

trust me i wouldnt post anything like that on here if I didnt think it was legit..just wanted to let everyone know ..their are big name producers looking out for us little folks thats tryin to do something...

Ya, I have had l lot of emails where cats just try to get a copy of some tracks and hustle you. But, if you know this is real, i'm down. Just be 100% on it. In terms of if a track gets picked up how much of the cut do you want? I got some R&B tracks. Does he want Hip Hop or R&B?

I did find some info:
http://www.idnmusic.com/database/cat_5153.html

The site seems to offline.

So what you're saying is just send you're instrumentals to this email address? If this is legit. I'm down as well, hopefully everyone has a copyright on what they send out. Can I get your opinion on "Yearnin'" for this. The track is also available separately .

Are they saying they want songwriting too? I am admittedly a Mariah Carey fan and I write a lot of love songs intending for an R&B songstress to sing them.

Maybe this could be an opportunity? Not to boast but I think I'm a decent songwriter, what do y'all think?
