Very quick and urgent but very important question...

Hi! I'm just bouncing my tracks now for the master factory for my first album and have a mega urgent question. I am using Protools and all my songs are in 24bit sessions and I have been bouncing to 24 bit files BUT I have left on the powr dither thing and it is set to 16 bit. Should I go back and rebounce the tracks without the dithererer thing or are they ok?

Need to get the files over tonight (it is 20:45 here in Ireland). Quick response very very very much appreciated!!

If you can, yes, should be 24 bit, no dither. You may want to confirm with the mastering house if that's what they want, but that would be the norm

Cool! Have started doing that. They said to just bounce it at whatever bit rate I recorded in so I'm undithering now and leaving all in 24. Thanks a lot!

I'm sure they said whatever *sample* rate (not bit-rate) and at 24-bit *word length* --
