Hello,
Well im goingto start getting serious about recording, and building a small room to do so. But all i know how to do is sing. Thats pretty much all i know.
So i was wondering if theres a site or somthing that goes over all the basic stuff for people who dont know anything. I basically dont know anything at all.

Thanks

This is as good a place as any to start. You should probably do some reading first. Here's a good place to start.
http://www.tweakheadz.com/rigs.htm
Tells about different options for recording set-ups.
I'd also recommend you go to amazon and order Guerrilla Home Recording by Karl Coryat. Read that too. Then come back with specific questions about the type of recording you want to do. Lot's of people here that are very smart and willing to share their knowlege.

I second the motion for Tweakheads, you'll find a lot of basic info about gear and how it is used there. Also you'll get an idea of what the general price range is for gear.

Good luck I suggest finding a helping hand who has more knowledge going into it blind is probably not a good idea. If your going to do research and then start that might be a better idea.
