Very big problem!

I have a Yamaha MD4 recorder connected to my sound blaster live
I have 2 sound cards, both are sb live.

The problem is, when i use the "line in" i hear a hiss.. when i turn off the line in in the windows mixer, the hiss goes out. when i activate the line in, i hear the hiss again.

I can listen the hiss without anything connected to line in!

What happens?

Do you use Live! Drive ? the breakout box ? The cables running inside your CPU could deliver noises. Put 'em away from fans, HD, CD Drive, etc...
