V67 Under The Snare

I am thinking of trying out my v67 under the snare instead of the 57 I've been using there. Will the v67 take the SPL's there?
 
Yeah, I've never tried the MXL V67G under a snare before (most of the time I use my SM-7 under and my M201 on top)... but, it won't hurt the V67G if that's what you mean... and the V67G can handle high SPL's, but I'm not sure if it will clip or not. Please let everyone here know how it works out for you. Thanks
 
Nope, don't like it at all. Much too harsh. The 57 kicks its ass in that position.
 
I had a feeling you wouldn't like it... but, I thought it would be because it might pick up too much bleed from the rest of the kit. Anyway, that's for the info coplinger.
