So you're just using the mic mount that comes with it and not a shockmount and that works fine for you?

thats good to hear... don't have to spend an extra $50 for shockmounts on Ebay.

Yeah, I haven't had any problems......of course you can't bang into the stand but that's not that difficult.

Just an FYI: The V57 is a V63 is a 1006.

BTW MF is offering something called the MXL 992 for $199 that I see no mention about on the MXL website. Anybody heard of this one before?
