- Anybody have any experience with the V-studio 100 from Cakewalk?? How does it suffice as an interface, and how's the latency?? Is it compatible with Win 7?? -
It's 2014 now and I just got this. It's been discontinued that's why I got a good deal online (used @GC for 230 shipped). Works great as an interface on Win7 and it works great as a control surface compatible with Cubase and Sonar. On Cubase u have to set it as a Mackie Controller. The preamp is quite good. Warm and full. 3 band parametric EQ and Compression are basic. Reverb is quite decent actually. Latency is better than my Focusrite Forte even! @ 44.1khz and 64 samples I'm getting about 5 ms in and 5ms out..my pc is i7 and 16Gig Rams. HTH
