V-amp 2 and rewcording?

I just purchased Behringer Vamp2...All I need is something basic for recording guitar tracks.....It sounded good in store, played thru an amp, and price was right compared to POD.....I thought I could just plug it directly into my Mixer at home to record (Ive plugged guitars, basses, and mics into my mixer to record and it works just fine), however, I cant get a good clean sound at all from the Vamp? Ive tried both a left/right stero track on the mixer and a mono track on the mixer.......Any thoughts? Is it a line impedance issue of some kind??....If so, what do I need to do to make this work?...Again I purchased for the sole purpose of recording guitar tracks, using my mixer which is linked into my Delta 44 soundcard and Logic/computer set up..Thx.

Always nice when you can answer your own question....It was simply a matter of adjuting all volume/gain levels in the appropriate way, specifically turning guitar volume way "lower" than normal, and other things up..........I will say this- V-amp2 looks to be pretty good.....for less than $150 I am getting everything I need for the guitar recording options I desire..

Also make sure that in the setup options your "gain high/low" is off. You shouldn't have to turn down your git volume to clean up the sound (unless you have some kind of super output pups that are overdriving the vamp). Keep the gain knob low, and the input volume lower than the output volume, these things should help balance out your sound.

Another thought is that the output from the vamp is overdriving your mixer's pre-amps. is the distortino present when you listen to the vamp via its headphone jack?
