HellO everybody.. well i know the main objetive of homerecording.com is to talk about recording and things like that.. the thing is I cannot find enough information to use xENYX 1204FX - UCA 200 in order to play live... I've been using Guitar Rig software - a program designed to use it as a "live playing" tool - and it DOES recognize my hardware but in a kind of low quality (some noise and low-cut-far-from-stable-function are my common problems, although i can manage to get a regular sound).
I play in small places and I use voice, instruments, and sometimes recordings or samples too.. I kind of like the issue of having my own mixer aside and a 60-watt amplifier to make all the sounds i want... But I recently bought a new pedal (JAMMAN DELAY) and used it just connected right tothe Amp - without the computer and the mixer - and it sounds good enough... but when trying to use it with my mixer.. the whole quality problem rises up..
My question is if i can use other software, simpler, cleaner and more stable maybe, even free, only as a "medium" to recognize my hardware and play live??
