i bought a delta 44 thinking i could double up later as needs required.
i thought id done enough info research to back up my intensions.
after purchasing the first unit (all went well it recorded great). i didnt see
any precise info in the manual on the use of multi 44s. when calling m-audio they suggest selling this unit and getting a 1010lt. one feature of the 44s i liked was the balanced i/os. m-audio said because the 44 had no external wordclock that they didnt support multi 44 use. ok heres the clincher some
users are claiming to use multi 44s, 44/66s, 44/1010s all with simultaneous
recording capabilities. my pc is an old 750mhz athlon with cakewalk.
if anyone has experienced the use of multi 44s can you give some info so if
i purchase another i dont end up D.O.A.
thanks curtiedrums
