I bought Project 5 a few days ago and discovered a lot of goodies as a primarily Sonar user.

No more calculating 60,000/Tempo.... Project 5's Tempo Delay will allow you to select 1/2...1/4...1/8...1/32 delay in any tempo along with several other settings like stereo, ping etc... That alone is worth the money I spent on the package... I should have bought it earlier, he he he... There are so many effects and Synths that come with Project 5 which you can use in Sonar. So my face is all :D

P-five~!

4ever,
R U familiar with Reason? It works like a dream with SONAR XL as well. Is P-5 like Reason? I might consider purchasing it if it brings something new to table aside from that tempo delay gizmo you mentioned. My tunes are sounding pretty good these days with my current set up. I use SONAR XL, Wavelab, Soundforge, FM7, and Reason. What does P-5 have to offer that these other programs don't?

I can't answer your question because I don't use Soundforge, FM7, and Reason. My work mainly on SonarXL and Wavelab.

The tempo delay in P5 is very good. There are many, many other good things in P5 too, like the PSyn Synth. NPulse drum synth and many others.
