A preamp is definitely needed. I assume your modules are multi timbral. If they are it's easy. You basically only set the channels you need to recieve. You would hook both modules up to your sequencer in a daisy chain. For example, since you would set the drums on one module to recieve on channel 10. Then you would turn off all of the channels that you are not using. Then you would set all the other channels on your other module to recieve as needed. You could put your bass one channel one, strings on channel two, etc etc. you could also layer your sounds in this wasy. For example, have a piano on one of the 16 tracks and have a string on another track, but set both of thier recieve channels to 1. Then, you would hear both sounds playing whatever sequence you have on channel one. You can also layer sounds from the different modules in this manner. Have the bass on one module set to recieve on channel 2, and have the strings on the other module also recieving on channel 2. I hope this was clear enough for you. Good luck.

Yea I get what your sayin...Right now Im using Cakewalk to sequence my music so what exactly is a daisy chain..anyways thatnks for the feedback..

If you're using a keyboard, connect Midi Out of the keyboard, to Midi in of your computer. Use Midi Out of your computer to Midi in of the first module(doesn't matter which one). Then go from MIDI thru on the first module to MIDI in on the second module. In cake walk you set the send channels. What I mean by this is, suppose you want drums on track 10(this is the MIDI default). Whatever module you want for the drums set the recieve channel to 10, and set the send channel in Cakewalk to 10. when you play your keyboard at this point, they will play whatever drum patches you have selected on the module. Play a sequence in your sequencer and save....this will be you basic drum program. then, suppose you wanna add a bassline using the second module. You would change the cakewalk send channel to 1, and set the receive channel on the module you want to use to channel 1. Choose your sound on the module and record that part. Repeat this until you have your song. Save the sequences and your done.
