using Firepod with BCF2000 and Keyboard

Hi, I use the BCF2000 control surface via MIDI (as I use Logic Platinum and the USB connection confuses it!). I Also have a MIDI keyboard. I wish to use them both at the same time via my Presonus Firepod interface. How do I daisychain them? I presume its something to do with the Thru port?

yeah, anything connected to a midi port in will be passed on to the midi thru port. Make sure you are sending on different midi channels (i.e. keyboard on midi channel one, bcf on midi channel 2)

BCF2000 OUT to Firepod IN

no. it is not a chain like that.

BCF out to keyboard in, keyboard thru to firepod in.

Why do you want to connect an input to the BCF

because the Logic send info to it, the mixer on Logic syncs to the BCF
