using a digi 001 with sonar

Acording to cakewalk sonar 4 is compatable with a digi 001, but cakewalk wont seem to pick it up with as a sound card it only picks up the card on the motherboard. The digi works just fine with the protools it came with but unfortunely im used to cakewalk and bought it to use to with cakewalk.

I tried this.. you need to get the ProTools ASIO drivers. .this will let you use the Digi001 hardware from within Cakewalk. There was quite a bit of latency that I was never able to get rid of.. eventually we just recorded in Protools, and then imported everything into Sonar for mixing. Kind of annoying.

You might want to go with some thing like the M-Audio products I think.
