I am buying a USB condenser mic off of a friend but want to run everything, being my guitars and microphone, through the mixer I'm also buying.
However, I cannot find a solution or way of plugging the USB mic into a mixer, does an adapter exist anywhere that allows me to plug it into the line input or midi input?

If not will I still get the same sound quality out of my recordings if my microphone isn't running through the mixer?

Thanx

Nope.

A USB slave device has to go to a USB host device. Can't work by itself.

And the USB mic quality is going to be determined by the Analog>Digital chips in the interface built into the mic. Nothing will change that.

I know of NO mixers or consoles that accept a USB mic input.

USB mics are that way for convenience:
Plug one mic into your computer and go!

Sometimes you can plug in two.

Plus - you are saying it is condenser - so it will need power
and the USB port gives it that power.

So the answer is no - you can not plug the USB mic into your mixer.
