K KatieHullMusic New member May 24, 2014 #3 I use an Alesis DM8 to trigger the software instruments in some of my songs. Other times, I use the finger drum pads on my Novation Impulse. If the beat is too complicated to play on the finger pads, I'll go for the kit.
