USB drum set to trigger software instrument

Hi,
Do anyone using an USB drum set to trigger the software instrument from Logic Pro instead of keyboard controller?
Any recommendation?

Nobody using a Digital Drum "USB" to trigger the software instrument drum set? Keyboard Controller always the best choice to go?

I use an Alesis DM8 to trigger the software instruments in some of my songs. Other times, I use the finger drum pads on my Novation Impulse. If the beat is too complicated to play on the finger pads, I'll go for the kit.
