I just installed the US-122 for the first time. Haven't had it connected to the board yet but have been playing at my desk with a single input and I like it A LOT better than the AudioPre it replaced! I can actually play a mp3 on the outputs and record the inputs at the same time.

But my problem is that I can't find the D!@#!@ Control Panel?!?!

The manual says in Windows it is under "Control Panel" but it is not in XP. Ideas anyone?

Thanks in Advance, Scott

I've got XP home and it's in my windows control panel. If you haven't already, try switching your control panel view to the "classic view" (in control panel, there will be an option for that in the upper left). This lists all of the control panel options individually (instead of grouped into categories) and is not the default setup when you install XP.

THANKS J7b! Classic view and "there it is!" Surprising that the view mode should make a difference what shows up - but it is Windows.

Here is a tip -- put a shortcut to the US-122 on your desktop. I did it for my 428, and it makes it so much easier to grab that tuner.
