I just got my Cubasis to stop skipping with my US-122 and am ready to move on to some kind of new software. I've worked with Cubase VST 5.0 and Cubasis (the one that came with the interface). I'm happy with the program but just want something with more tracks (anything above about 15 would be fine).
Which other softwares can I get that will be compatible with the US-122? I'm looking for something cheap also. I think i've seen a version of Cubasis (possibly 5.0?) on ebay that goes for about $30. Anyone know anything about this?

try nuendo it's a good program to use with it DON'T USE Cool Edit 2.0 when you record with it. Your vocals will be off a little bit I hate to say that because I love cool edit been using it since version 1.2

I've got a US122, but I had Cubasis 2.0 before I bought the US122.

The "full version" of Cubasis allows 48 tracks of audio. The bundled version seemed limited to 8.

If I had to buy another software package, I'd probably get Home Studio XL from Cakewalk. I heard it's got an easy upgrade path to Sonar, and is much more intuitive than Steinberg's offerings.

get adobe audition. It has an option to click "synchronize waveforms". Don't listen to people trying to drive you away from it. It's well worth the money.
