US-122, Cakewalk Sonar3, and hyperthreading

Is anyone else getting the XP version of a BSOD, core memory dump and reboot cycle when using the US-122 with Sonar3? If I disable hyperthreading in the BIOS before booting it works fine but if not, instant BSOD.
 
Yep, 3.1.1 and using the latest Tascam drivers. As long as I have hyperthreading disabled in the BIOS, everything's fine.

Well, not completely - the XP GUI becomes non-responsive when the computer tries to go to sleep if the unit is plugged in to a USB port. You can try to log in remotely from another networked machine via Remote Desktop - the terminal services login window comes up and you can enter your username and password, but since the GUI is dead, you can't do anything once you're logged in, not even command a restart.
 
There were some very long and involved posts about this issue on the Cakewalk forums when 3.1.1 first came out. It seemed to boil down to a) chipset specific issues and b) PCI bus timing and resource allocation dramas.

Not having the benefit of a HT enabled mobo or CPU, (@$#$!), I didn't pay enough attention to actually help you out.

Search the Cakewalk forums and you should be able to dig up the info.
