Us 122 and standby

I just bought a us 122 and my computer wont standby.It Freezes!!! windows xp home.
Any suggestions?

make sure you have service pack 1 or greater. XP has a bug in the USB audio playback.

No but my laptop does the same thing too, running win xp.
