Uploading Sessions

Does anybody here know of a forum or website, where pro tools users can upload there sessions and have other people mix or master there songs. It be kind of cool to practice other genre's and see how other people mix songs or see how people mix your own song and what they created! I think it would be easier to just upload the session folder instead of importing individual waves. I don't know, I just really like mixing and mastering!

You could upload it to any file sharing site, then post a link either in this forum, or in the Mixing/Mastering forum of this site.

I'd likely be up for mixing some stuff if I have free time.

the entire session folder would work...provided it was in a ZIP or RAR format. Most file upload sites and people prefer to work with a single file rather than hundreds of smaller files (unless you're talking about doing a torrent or something)

most free uploading sites have 100MB limits though ( http://drop.io/ or http://www.yousendit.com/ )
You might need to look into an FTP site if you want to do more than that.

Individual tracks are really easier, IMO.

I've got a web site that's along the lines of what you're looking for. You can't upload your sessions, I have session for you to download. It's not free, pretty cheap though. You can send me your mixes and I'll post them on the site. I have a forum set up for discussion as well.

filemail.com has a free 2GB limit, which is the highest I've seen.
