Upgrade to Guitar Tracks Pro or SONAR?

I know.... SONAR you all say....but do I need it? ....Really?
Background:
I currently have the old Guitar Studio 2.0 S/W and need to upgrade .:)
I record blues/jazz guitar and never need multiple inputs. I 've upgraded my old M-Audio DMAN 16 bit audio card to an ECHO MIA Midi.
The two areas that I want to improve my recordings are, (1) signal-to- noise ratio (2) the drums. The Echo Mia takes care of the 'signal-to- noise' having 24/96 specs and balanced inputs and so # 2 - the drums are now the focus.

Guitar Tracks Pro ($99 upgrade)comes with a bunch of drum loops, - does SONAR (Studio - $199 upgrade) come with an equivalent bundle of drum loops? I see that SONAR has the TTS-1 DXi Roland module, - are the drums any good?
I don't have any external midi equipment, so I don't need the extensive midi capabilities of SONAR, right?
I can add Cakewalk smartloops($30), Drumatic ($49) or maybe SmartLoops PRO ($179) to GTPro.....
...so GTPro plus additional loops or SONAR? What do you recommend and WHY?

Thanks, in advance,

If you just want loops, buy loops. The loops in Sonar are nothing more than a few samples, more there to use as a demo than a serious library.

Do a search on Smartloops in this forum, you might change your mind about them.
I have Drumatic and rarely ever use it.

I really like Drums on demand but Beta Monkee is the best bang for the buck.

I use GTPro with "Drums on Demand" with good results. If you want audio only GT Pro is good. Drums on Demand are very user friendly loop sets. Easy to get good results.

I use GT Pro. I've no use for midi so it suits me.
GTP uses the same audio engine as Sonar - you just get fewer tracks, fewer simultaneous plugins. I record my own drums though so I don't use the loops

...so I decided on Guitar tracks Pro 3 and it arrived today....and I am going to order Beta Monkey drum loops...they have a special ....3 CD's(your choice) for $49.

I emailed beta monkey, because their web page said that their V2 CD ( drum werks II) was sold out....and they responded that they have updated the V2 CD and would ship both the old and the new....that makes 4 drum loop CD's for $49....can't shake a stick at that.....free shipping also...

Thanks for all the replys...I'lll post an update when I have everything loaded and working.
