I've got one of these interfaces and it's great. I've been using it for around 6 years, but I'd like to start investigating mic preamps and from what I've found, you can't bypass the pres on it.
I'd like to upgrade to something that allows me to bypass preamps, or perhaps doesn't even have any and just acts as a straight converter.
My checklist:
Any suggestions? Don't want to spend more than around $500 really.

- Must be USB
*Must be able to bypass preamps
*Must be some kind of upgrade from the UA25 - the best quality DACs I can afford.
*Only needs two channels - any more than that is a waste of time to be honest, as I overdub everything.
Any suggestions? Don't want to spend more than around $500 really.
