Updating D16 hard drive. I'm doing it myself!

Just to let any d16 users out there know. I got tired of Korg telling me that the HDD on the d16 can't be updated. Using info found on other sites I ordered a 6 gig laptop disk with similar specs to the original 2.1 gig drive. I hope it works, because these size drives are getting harder to find. I'll report back with news of success or miserable failure.

Will you have to format the drive before you install it?

Supposedly the d16 will ask you if you want to initialize when you fire it up after the install. The operating system is independent of the hard drive.
