I just wanted to give an update on the room I started last month(in addition to my basement). I ended up going 3 sheet levels deep on either side of the sound booth and above on top and internally on the ceiling. I have R11 packed to the hilt inside, and on top of the acoustical ceiling tile.
My next steps are getting the laminate flooring down, and putting in the doors, which will be delivered Sat. morning. The entrance door will be glass, and the 4x5 sound booth is a steel framed, fireproof door, with a glass rectangular pane(heavy ass door).
All my equipment has been put into rolling racks, that I built and covered with black canvas. I hope I am in the home stretch to actually testing the acoustics out in the room, and adding my roominator package.
Thanks, as always comments are very welcomed.
