Unloaded guitar cabs

Hi everyone,

Can anyone help I am looking to purchase some new unloaded guitar cabs and could do with some links for people who supply them in the U.K. Im looking for both 4 x 12 and 2 x 12.

I know I could probably build one but im a musician not a carpenter and im not competent in woodwork so I dont really want to go down that road.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Saw some avatars on e-bay. Don't remeber if tthey were UK. Sorry if this doesn't lead you to the promised land.

I'm not familiar with any places round the UK, you could check ebay, but personally i'd say take a shot at building your own, it's verry easy, and you will get a "you" sound, (even if you don't like that sound) and personally i get alot of satisfaction building my own equip. it give's me a certain feeling of pride when i play.

but thats my opinion.. i know this didn't help.

Well, I was going to recommend Griffiths Sound Works, or Weber, or Geezer Sound, or Avatar, until you said "UK"....... sorry.

Avatar is the only one I know of that might ship to UK. Actually, Ted Weber's web site does have a lot of stuff on it about shipping internationale! That's a possibility, but they aint cheap!

Maybe you should move to Texas? The guitar gear is a LOT better there! I mean, Stevie and Johnny and Billy cant all be wrong, right?

Ugh, why move to texas?? I would go to the UK before even stepping foot in (most) of america... anyway, I'm suprised tho, I thought the UK had a pretty big music industry. have you parused some of your local music stores (or show up to an underground concert, push the mosh pit on-stage, and steal one of thier cabs while no one is paying attention...)

Dave at Avatarspeakers.com quoted me a black with wheat grill 4x12 empty cabinet for $185 (US). Shipping will probably kill ya though.

Shipping is usually very reasonable on the empty ones, especially if they are birch.....

Even if the band is worth less than the gear, it should not be stolen. I thought Canadians had class and a sense of humor. Maybe I missed something.
