Don't know where else to post this, so I'll post it here since I use them only in Sonar.

I was really bummed to hear that Ultrafunk is going out of business. They are some of the best plug-in's ever, and a great value for the money. After they re-organized and released version 3 I thought they were going to make it, but I guess not.

Better make sure you have all your access numbers written down!

It's a shame indeed.

Also, this brings up another point. Ultrafunk pointed out that software piracy was a factor in the demise of their business.

So, for anyone regularly using illegal copy of Sonitus plug-ins or any illegal copy of software for that matter, you can still do the right thing (as in pay). It will clear your larcenist status, and more importantly, your conscience.

For those who insist on continued usage of illegal software, may your machines keep crashing and may your audio files eternally corrupting.

That's right. It's been our -Homerecording.com BBS members- policy to not giving any support for piracy software.

It's sad. I only have the Ultrafunk Multiband Compressor and it absolutely ROCKS!

Cakewalk should buy Ultrafunk and replace their crappy plugins for Ultrafunk plugins. Ever compared the Ultrafunk modulation plug with the Cakewalk chorus? Blows it away....:)

Was that true, Pedullist ?
I thought I always choose Cakewalk FX2 for the best plugins for Chorus. (The original Cakewalk chorus sucks, I know that... :D ) I never use Ultrafunk before. Where can I download the demo of Ultrafunk ?

The eq sounds great, the comp and gates work great, the gate has a nice 'punch' feature the pumps up sucky snares and kicks, the comp has a lookahead limiter the kills on kick and snare (way better that the Timeworks limit from what I tried), the delay has filters AND diffusion, ect, ect...
(IMHO )

I think the Sonitis reverb is great. THe delay is the best on the market, and I love the ability to set delay times based on song tempo rather than milliseconds. Brilliant. The compressor is wonderful too. Probably my least favorite is the modulator. All the UI's are well layed out. They are simply great effects at any price.
If piracy is one of the factors that put these guys out of business, that really pisses me off. Thanks a lot, you scum-sucking weasle free-loaders!

Hey, have you ever heard of Ohmboys multitap delay? (www.ohmforce.com) That one is even more brilliant....check it out....you're lost if you do....but check it out, it's awesome...(delay times on song tempo, as well as the normal way plus each controller is assignable to lfo's: multitaps, distortion, eq, panning...it's insane...)

O, and don't forget WaveArts Masterverb (www.wavearts.com)....very good!
