UAD or waves

Nor mine, but sometimes I record something that is especially chewy sounding in the first place. Adding more gooeyness would just be too much. That's when waves comes in.

Well, their compressors don't have ANY behavior that I find desirable for ANY track ANYWHERE.

Their EQ's. Blah!!! If I need a somewhat surgical/sterile eq, the Sonalksis is the ticket and about as surgical/sterile as I would ever want to go!

The Waves LinMB, L2/L3, and noise reduction stuff is about the only stuff I can stomache. Oh, I guess their noise gates are alright.

WARNING!
UAD plugs are addictive. The LA2A is great,two knobs and it's hard to make it sound bad,
I've got two cards and I'm seriously considering a third.
I can't speak to the Waves,other than they are genrally well respected.
