J., be sure to try out an excellent dynamic microphone on your voice too. It turns out the Beyer M88TG seems to sound better
on me than a U87ai. (cost for that mint used M88TG was $150!)
The M88's tend to sell for under $250 on e-bay BTW.

Gets me wondering about the Sennheiser 441...

j, atlanta pro audio is up 85north.. you can't miss it.its across the highway from guitar center and they have a huge yellow pro tools sign that you can see from the highway.

galaxy music is an ok small store. i was gonna get a few things from there before but i didn't..
as for the KSM44.. at guitar center you can get one new for $699.. on ebay you can get one new for $510... i was gonna get mine off ebay.. but i want to be able to take it back if i have any problems.. not send it in..
