Hi there, Can any one answer my two questions?
Q1. I have a US122 hooked up to a Mac G3 (B&W) running ProTools Free under OS 8.6, everthing works fine, But I cant get the bundled version of cubasis to work, it installed ok and I have placed the asio drivers in the asio folder, but cubasis reports no Tascam interface foundand exits.
Q2. Can a 788 write to a scsi dat drive?

Q1) I had the same problem with the bundled version of Cubasis I got with my US-122. My solution was not to try anymore and remove it from my system. Just stick with what works --- I find that slogan comes in quite handy when dealing with music and computers...

Q2) I don't know. Does it have a SCSI port? Have you peeked in the manual?

I would caution you to not take anyone's word for this except someone at Tascam. I've heard that non-compatable scsi drives can cause all sorts of havoc with a 788 including erasing the EPROM.

I have a 788 with the approved Tascam CD-RW; it has been an outstanding purchase.
