1. Can I use acid loops in Cakewalk? The loop CD library looks great and I have heard great things about it, but I use Cakewalk. Will it work?

2. Why, oh why did Soundforge drop CD Architect?! It was a great program and seemed to have a niche market. I loved it. I wanted to marry it. I wanted to run away and have children with it, and now it's gone. I'm an empty shell.
Sniff.

To #1, yes, they will work fine. They're just WAV files with some extra (inaudible) marker info that ACID embeds, and other applications just ignore.

To #2, sorry, I dunno.

:D

AlChuck is correct, but remember to CONVERT (mix to new track) your tracks to WAV. files before importing them into Cakewalk.

I thought Aaron meant the loops themselves, which are already WAV files.

But if you do make use the loops in ACID and create an ACID project and then want to take a mix from there and import it into Cakewalk, yeah, convert them to WAV first.
