I think these two turned out a bit better than the first one.

Enjoy.

Butt Rock...Could use more guitar, but if it's just one guitarist, you can't have that live...I really like the bass in this. It really shines. Good tone.

Out Of Luck...Same basic thoughts on guitar sound. It's a good sound, but a bit hidden. This is due to the live fact though. One guitar can only have so much impact in a live situation. Bass is great again. Nice drum sounds on both tunes. Very good for a live recording. It sounds real, and not overdubbed.

Decent tunes, all in all. Sounds like it was a good show. Well played.
Ed

Ed, I really like the sounds your putting out here. Clarity and nice mix.

I think a second guitar, doing some kic butt wanking lead, would be the icing on the cake. But I love wanking, and perhaps you didn't want wanking on this song.

BTW, the vocals are excellent. Guys got some pipes!

Great song.

True

true, this isn't "my song". It is a band that I recorded at a live show back in August.

That vocalist is a girl. ;)

Thanks for the listen! :D

Ok, got a chance to remix Butt Rock today without the client and with another hour to play with it! :)

I really like the bottom end of this Ed. It is potent. This is a very good live recording. If I heard this stuff live, I would be happy. That bass sound is awesome. Very good drums. How many mic's on a kit like this live?

Kick
Snare
Hi Hat (didn't use that)
Rack Tom
Floor Tom
Two overheads.

Just finished Outta Luck.

So, people were sort of bitching about the guitars in the "old" mixes. What about now?

They sound great!!! I like the aero sound on the guitar. The lady has pipes and a growl!!

What is the name of the band?

Nice tone....sounds a bit more full. Like the rest of these, the bass is really good. I'd like more guitar, but that is just me. For a live recording, this is very full. It is not really lacking for anything, sonicly. But the drums and bass are very good. Really carry the tune. Vocals sit well also. She's good, and was captured, and mixed well.
