Hello everyone.
I'm new on here, Google sent me to this forum multiple times while searching for info and opinions on microphones.
Decided to register.

So...
I tried to cram as much info into the subject to make it as informative as possible.
Here's some info on what I own:
Audio Interface: E-MU 0404 USB (white, oh yeah)
Monitors: KRK RP6 G2 SE (white, oh yeah)
Guitar: Taylor 110 CE (pre-2009 model)

Now I was thinking of just getting one LDC, but getting an LDC as well as an SDC might give me lots more versatility.
Now as the title suggests, I want to either use a two-mic set-up on the guitar, or use one on the guitar and one on my vocals.
Three mic setup is impossible, I have only two inputs to play with.

My ideas were:
SDC: Shure KSM109/KSM137, Oktava MK-012.
LDC: Audio Technica AT-4040, Shure SM27.

I have an untreated, bedroom-studio, 3.2m x 4.5m x 2.4m.

Any ideas, recommendations, sound clips?

Thanks in advance.

With an untreated room I am moved to send you to try out a Shure sm7b, and a pair of sdc's. Any of those you mentioned should be fine

Yeah, it's untreated, but I'm willing to improvise something to make it usable up until I have a room which I can treat.
i also have to add that the SM7B is just a bit more expensive than the SM27, I can't spend too much.

You should look at it like the SM7b will also fullfill your Bass drum needs and then your drums are pretty much covered if you are familiar with the 3 mic Glen Jons technique...now you will save a ton on not only an exelent vocal mic but a bass drum mic too.

Appreciate your reply.
I have no drumkit that's record-worthy.
Secondly, I have only two inputs.
Thirdly, will an SM7B perform equally well on an acoustic guitar as an SM27 (or a KSM32 for that matter).
