Well, my humble home studio is nearly complete. Actually, I guess that's a lie...I'll keep expanding over time, no doubt.

Regardless, all of the equipment that I own NOW is just about installed.

I'll be posting some pictures here within the next 24 hours - but I wanted to thank everyone for their very valuable input. I simply cannot wait to start using my rig.

Mr. Sayers...I'll be submitting a breakdown to you, as well. Your website was just as helpful as was this one. Thank you!

Here are a few pictures. Keep in mind, I've done no decorating. That'll come later. :)

The last picture is one from the recording end of my vocal booth. I stuck one of the cond's in there for reference.

Anyway..I'm excited to finish decorating it, and similarly excited to share with you guys. :)

Thanks!

mate - I'd like to see your pics but I can't afford to wait half an hour for the 5 meg of pictures to load via my dial up connection.

cheers

Looks pretty cool!
You left the bathroom door open you know.

In light of some recent events, if it were me, I'd re-think that foam on the walls in the vocal booth.

Other than that, looks like a nice place to come into, relax, and be creative.

what kind of toilet is that?

Looks pretty cool man.. I'm diggin it.

A good loo makes for a good iso booth!!
Cool job dude, keep at it!!

Mr Turnip, where'd you come up with your handle? I was saddled with it as a none to welcome nickname when I was in highschool.

Really? That's nuts.

I actually was given it as a nickname when I was in college, simply because "Timmy Turnip" sounds amusing (my first name is Tim). One of my buddies signed me up for a class using that name...

I didn't like it, either, and got a little miffed at my buddies; that was a bad move. The nickname spread through the school, and followed me through graduation. Soooo...it's become my music project name. :)
