The verdict: Either Tool and Soundgarden sound stupid, the hard rock genre sucks, or Greg_L is unwilling to use his imagination.

I'm tossing my Soundgarden collection immediately.
 
i scream at my drummer all the time on the subject of snare wires engaged. he deaf. he don't hear nothing anymore. so, when there's a long intro with no drums, he don't hear that shit rattling like crazy. i throw things at him. i curse his unborn. i threaten to rub my grundle on his forehead while he sleeps. he never remembers.

Tool is great.

But yeah, get rid of that Soundgarden nonsense.
