Turning a normal black Gibson V into the Jimi custom one

Sheesshh.. With 600$ I'd tattoo your pickarm into that design..
anyone with little drawing experience should be able to duplicate THAT.
Sandblasting is dependent on the magnitude of it's grains same with glassbead-blowing, you can blast only 'till the gloss is gone..
shelf-paper or better contact-plastic should hold that little blasting..
Then paint, but no idea on getting the finish even and flat..
 
its not just the design for $625...its the refinishing of the cherry guitar to black, set up and installing the pups. i want it done professionally and to look EXACTLY like the $8K guitar does. i want a replica.

i only paid $566 for the new guitar.
 
I think if I saw someone playing one, I'd think "Guitar Center junk mail" and not hendrix.

However, that Lonnie Mack thing is 100% identifiable.

The guitar is home! I definitely dont like the stock pickups they put in there so now I need to buy the 57 classic pups and the tailpiece and bring everything over to my tech to 'Hendrixize' my V!
