I should have elbaorated more.... my fault.
The only sound I could get out of this pedal was crunch crunch crunch. I'm not a huge fan of crunch, but I do like it in certainly situations. I had an old marshall jcm 800 (master model make II single channel 50 watt to be exact) and that dude's crunch was awesome!!!!
The crunch that I was getting out of the bottle rockect was no where near even musical to me. It wasn't even good for putting infront of a already crunchy amp as an overdrive. (Like what what a tube screaming is awesome for)...
Think of the most non musical sound you could get somewhere between crunch and fuzz and that's what I got.... I couldn't get a decent solo sound and decent palm mute sound... I couldn't get a decent distorted sound with it period. The best thing I could use it for would be a paper weight (it was pretty sturdy).
This is only my opinion about it. And somebody out there might love it... but my buddy and myself both completely hated it.
The only way I could see buying it, is if you're going for a non-musical crunch sound. And if that's the case a cheap dod overdrive pedal would do it better.... Don't flame me it's just my opinion.
For the record I play mainly punk, metal, grind, surf, experiemental, some blues, and pavement-ish music. This pedal might suit your style of music, but I completely hated it!
