Remember that TSR-8 that sold for $1525.00 a few days ago? Someone has copied the listing nearly word for word. Get this – he also changed his ebay ID to analogsoundaudio on the same day he listed this. Before that his ID was fairytale_al, which makes more since in keeping with the situation. :D :p :D

Someone asked him about the other listing. Take a look at his answer. :D :D :D

Here's the previous listing

I had a feeling this would happen.

The shipping cost is even the same on the TRSs! Funny...what some people won't do for a buck, like cheat other people    Maybe it's coincidence about the pastor thing, but if there were that many pastors using intense gear like this, seems the US would have more Christian music out there and much shorter sermons.

Beck,...

I believe they are separate TSR-8's, although the seller did use the previous verbage of the other listing,... verbatim,... but that's done all the time! It may reflect laziness, or ambition (to sell high like the other one),... but not necessarily dishonesty. (IMO).

About 2-3 months ago,... I spotted a listing for what was apparently a like-new/mint 246. Then I realized it was my own pic of my own 246, which I photo'g'd in my home, and posted here on HRcom. I contacted the seller, and he apologized for co-opting my image, but he never changed the listing. He swore up/down that his was as nice as mine,... as nice as pictured. Yeah. The punch line, in the end, was it only bid up to $96, so it was no harm/no foul. At that price, I kinda wished I had bid on it, myself.

In short, I see lots of listings that "borrow" from other listing's pictures and descriptions.

In fact, way back in ... Dec 2000 (?),... I fell for just that on my first 388 purchase. It was pictured as a v-clean, near-mint 388 with black vinyl dust cover,... but after my successful bid, I found out I'd not bid on the item pictured. Sure, I felt a bit cheated, and rightly so. All in all, it was still a fairly nice 388 in pretty good condition, but the precedent was that I'd bid on what appeared to be like-new/mint, and I got otherwise. About 1-2 months later, it blew a drive transistor for the left reel motor, but I believe that was coincidental,... or maybe high-static environment that caused that, in my home.

Anyway, Ebay is a buyer-beware environment. If I see a nice unit, I'll make my first enquiry about whether it's the one pictured.

What infallable logic. QUick witted and to the point. I am sure this is what happened (if you say so Dave)

Troller!

If you're going to troll all my posts, all over the bbs, then you're going to be here a long, long time! :)

Really nice track record so far, trollboy! :)

Dave, just pay the royalties to The Beatles and I will leave you alone. I am sure that Nowhere Radio will be thrilled to hear that you have been commiting crimes, Dave.

I'm impressed with your zeal for trolling!

You see, Dave, you have violated the copyright laws and put nowhere radio in jeapordy. You are a low life weasle at best. Pay the royalties.

Thank you for the advice.

God bless you & have a nice day. :)

Are they really 2 different TSR-8s?

Dave, what are the chances of 2 of these shitboxes being bought from a church? C'mon. You can't be that stupid, can you?
