Sounded good over all. A little vocal boast @1:20-1:28 and @2:12-2:34 Not much, but they seemd to have gotten a little lost as she changed her vocals.

Overall, damn nice. Nice little tune as well, that always helps a mix.

Thanks! Good idea, they are a bit low. Man, never knew I sounded so feminine :).

Man, that is funny! lol

I think it is the emotion that made David assume it was a female voice. Not a bad thing dood. :)

Unless I was listening to the wrong sound, it really sounded like a female voice. I do apologize.

LOL -I've heard of "you throw like a girl" but never "you sing like a girl"..:D

Agree on the bass needing to cut through a bit more, but am OK with the kick if you're trying to give it an artificial kick type sound, but if you want it to sound like a real drum... a bit more edge required...

Cool tune.. :thumbs up:

No problem, I've heard that one before. Yes, I want the kick drum to sound artificial. The bass guitar is a bit tricky. I'll have to learn to mix it better in the mix.

I really like the song a lot - but I can see your concern about the T's and S's, especially when they start a new line - they're more prominent then.

I think if you took out a bit of that bite, it would ease me into the song even moreso. But still, really good.

Thank you! Yes, I have been trying to get those out, but they can be a bit tricky or at least this vocal track is. I'll be back with a new version some time soon.

So I have done a new version and removed the t's and s's a lot more. Also, I have boosted the vocals a bit and cut som frequencies. I did some with the bass too, but don't know if it's better or not :). This is the latest mixed and mastered version. Is the volume ok? Grateful for feedback!

I really like this song, but it does need to be remixed. Whether the t's and s's are too bright isn't the real issue. The vocals are simply too bright and almost distorting in the upper frequencies. I would run the instruments to a group and apply a parametric equalizer to the group and drop out the 1K slot as narrow as you can before losing the sense of mids. Then back off on the highs on the vocals. They need to sound more natural. Her voice is already a cutting and crisp voice so you don't need the highs to capture her accurately. TRy that (don't do it too much) and see if that doesn't help. (dropping the 1K gives her voice room in the vocal range. right now her voice is fighting to stand out over the instruments. You might consider mixing it without the instruments first so the voice bass and drums (are there any?) mix right with the vocal. Then bring the instruments in just enough without crowding the vocals. That's suggestion two. Good Luck,

I just mastered the song and im wondering if the vocals t's and s's are too bright? Any opinions? Should it be remixed?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the feedback! Should I run every singel instrument (incl. bass and drum) to the same group and cut at the 1k slot? Can I apply the EQ on every single track or do you mean that I should send all the instrument tracks to a bus like with reverb etc.?

When the guitar comes in to a diff tome around 3.15 the things gets muddy and the bass end seems to blurr & move across the stereo image.
Not a bad effort though.

Thanks for the feedback. I have tried to get that muddiness away and remixed it. I did also remove the effect on the verse vocals since it made it so bright. Here is a new remixed and remastered version. Will probably let this one rest a bit after this upload.
