RaAMI
Again very together.
The bvox seem really in close this time around. Did you do any finshing mastering/compresion stuff or simply normalize or just pushed the limits?
Another Q. I was interested to read your write/rehearse/rework process. What do you lay down 1st?
I'd assume drums but if you're liable to restructure/rewrite the song that might involve re doing the drums. OR do you record drums & work any changes into what you laid down?
I'm interested in the mind that works so quickly yet so well. When you gets the northern hemisphere tour (Canada, Alaska & Iceland was it?) happening what will you play live? Will you play with tape, PC , Tascam or people?

Hey Ray...thanx alot.

I wanted the vocals a little hard to hear in the verses, kind of like a "Toys in the Attic", where the vocals are just part of the mix. I don't know if I ended up with the desired effect, but it's what I was going for.

You've gor Great ears, Ray. It's not the first time you notice something subtle and get it right. I didn't spread out the Bvox as much for this tune. It just didn't seem to suit it. They're a bit narrower than usual.

As far as the recording/etc. process, I answered that in POST No. 8. I do drums last, and go back and change anything that the drum track might have caused a need for. But usually drums are last.

If I ever tour, it would defintely be with a band. I guess I would play guitar and sing most songs, and then pull a Phil Collins (with all my hair) and get on the drums a couple of times. But that's all a fantasy...There is no bigger club scene here, and my days of small clubs for 50 bucks a night are long gone. :)

Nice tune man....again, great bass sound...really fills it up. This tune has more of a raw, rock vibe...I really dig that. I'm DL'ng it now, to have a few more listens. But man, nice stuff.... :D

Thanx Dogman...Sorry I didn't respond earlier. I thought you were just re-affirming what you said in an earlier post. Turns out, it's your first post. thanx dude.

Drums are good and strong.

Love the guitars and their tones.

The vocals really stand out in the song. I love those harmonies too!!

It sounds very tight and full Rami.

The lyrics as always are great too.
