Trying to get my mix better before recording! (Critique please)

Hey all,

I've been slaving away to get my quality better. I'm recording a band with pay for the first time within the middle or end of this month. Would really like some tips and critique so i can keep improving before I start recording these guys...

oh, well every time i try to post a url, it gives me a pop up that says "you need 5 or more posts to post Urls"

no worries, its just chances are you'll get a better response in the clinic anyway

The main thing I noticed on the track is that the drums have a muted tone and are too low in the mix compared to the bass and guitar. I would brighten them up with EQ and raise the level. If the band you are recording thrashes like the sample track, I suspect that they will want the drums 'up' in the mix.
