I must have accidentally set my settings in my software to record at 48 HZ instead of at 44.1, so naturally the track will not playback properly when recorded to disc.
The only method I can think of to get a 44.1 recording of the track is to take the mixdown done at 48 and play it through Media Player and record in my software at the same time using the 'what you hear' option selected on my soundcard as the recording source.
However, when I try this, Cakewalk will record what I am playing, but when I play back the new track it end up being totally distorted and often has a ripple-like crackling effect throughtout. I have messed with the settings, but I can't imagine why I can not get a clear recording of that which is being played through the computer.
And I am using SB Live!, and I have all the proper bit and sampling rates set for this.
Thanks in advance,
Micro
