Trouble with posting a reply on the forum

This may not the be proper place to post this so forgive me, I'm new.
I've been able to start a thread, but when I try to reply to one, I get a message that I'm not allowed to do that, regresh the page and try again. None of that works and I have to keep logging in and getting nowhere. Is there a way to fix this?
 
Did you hit the remember me button when you logged in?
