My bassist's amp. head keeps blowing a 10 amp. fuse when he cranks the head to max power, however this only seems to happen with fender basses...is it the pickups? does anyone have any advice as to why this keeps happening?

Ziisus man!.. stop frightening me.. I've had an abm evo 500 head for a month..still in the box since ain't had the cabinets.. And there has been quality issues with Ashdown I thought were sorted by now. 
..Only Fender bassess huh?.. luckily I don't have those.. Could it be something in the wiring, or grounding...? ...Has Fender smaller pots on any crucial place?,, Is it many Fenders or just one?.. could be something on that particular bass.. Is the output of the bass noticeably higher or lower?..

have you managed to sort this out? I'm thinking of buying an AShdown MAG 300 head .... I have 3 basses, one is a Fender ,...I hate it if the Fender caused trouble

judging by the age of the original post, I'd say Ashdown may have fixed any issue .... I hope
