Trouble recalling presets with midiverb

Hi,
I own a midiverb 4 and I'm currently unable to recall presets via a behringer fcb1010 foot controller. The program change function is set to ON on the midiverb, the message from the controller seems good, both of them are on the same channel, the output from my controller is plugged in the input from my midiverb and I still can't recall a preset.

Is there something I'm missing? Can anyone please help me??

Man, it has been awhile since I dealt with a foot controller/effect processor setup like this.

As I recall, on each preset, you must tell it to respond to the foot controllers message.........meaning....

Preset (or ANY effect processor patch number) 1 = Foot Controller patch 1

2=2

You could have the foot controller patch one actually call up a different number on the effects processor........like........

1=25

etc...........

Each midi unit might have a different way of interacting with incoming midi commands. You will have to read the Alesis and Behringer models to make sure you have set this up correctly.
