Trouble installing FW1884 - need help!

I've never really used Mac's much, but I use Linux and Unix on a daily basis. I would assume that with OS X using a kernel based on OpenBSD, that your probably right, It must be pretty stable...

That being said, WinXP does a much better job than any previous windows release and I have far fewer problems than I ever had before.. :)

Was that a flame ?
 
Dang. Pretty pitiful. What do we have to do to get some real flaming going on around here?

What kind of idiot uses a MAC? Mac/Schmack. Is that the kind of computer they use at MAC.Donalds..you know where they punch in the Big Mac Combo and it gives you the price? If MAC's better, why ain't you rich? Well, I'm exhausted now. :D

But he still may be right.

That all said, my music stuff seems to be approaching a point of reasonable stability. I think I can record a project with it pretty shortly. If it keeps messing up on me, maybe I'll get a MAC.
