sorry if this is in the wrong place .i am new to cubase and i have read many different tutorials and tried many different things , but can not get a recorded file to play back in cubase. i have a casio keyboard and a realtek sound card on pc.i can play songs(seems to auto convert them to WAV files), that are on my pc in cubase and metronome plays , but if i record a track with the casio it won't play back.the song appears in the the track and i can see the volume bars going up and down like there is sound present as it moves along the track but can't hear anything.i record it as a MIDI track and in project setup it is set to record as a WAV file , but it ends up making it a CPR file.if i select casio MIDI out in inspector it will play back through the keyboard. but it seems the only other option is GS wavesynth.3 ASIO drivers are available- full duplex , all 2.0 , or generic low latency . i have tried all drivers and all kinds of inputs and outputs and tried setting locators and exporting to convert CPR to WAV and WM files but they don't play in cubase or media player or anywhere else. also tried recording them as instrument and audio files but no luck.i'm ready to get a multitracker and monitors for guitar and such , but i want to see if this all works first.
